Stripes

My friend and professional artist had a small painting class a few years ago that I thought might be inspirational. One of the processes I felt was very helpful to me at this time was a focus on design and looking at regular objects in a new way. We took photographs and looked at them to find something unseen and unique. This class inspired my stripes series. One of the continuing areas of focus is depth, but of course good design was essential also.
